Aviva app in ChatGPT for home and life insurance quotes (Aviva UK)
by Aviva (UK Personal Lines) · Primary insurer
Market unit: GB
Aviva offers an app inside ChatGPT, the first project of its partnership with OpenAI, that gives new UK customers an initial quote for its direct-only Signature Home Insurance within a couple of minutes. In a conversational flow users provide name, address and contact details and choose buildings, contents or combined cover; to buy, they are redirected to Aviva's website to add covers, review documents and pay. Announced on 24 March 2026, the app launched in April 2026 and was later extended to life insurance quotes, with the application again completed on Aviva's website. Aviva says it will monitor usage before extending to further products and channels. No usage or conversion figures have been published.

Comparable to the AXA Switzerland app in ChatGPT.
Group-wide partnership announced by Allianz SE and Anthropic on 9 January 2026. Claude models are to become part of Allianz's internal AI platform, free for all employees, and Claude Code is already used by thousands of Allianz developers. They are also co-developing AI systems that log every decision, rationale and data source for traceability. At announcement the claims agents and logging systems were in development; no live deployment, unit or metrics have been published since.
In October 2022 the Zurich-based AI company Unique announced four proofs of concept with Die Mobiliar (La Mobilière). One of them automatically recorded advisory consultations to test the quality of the resulting transcripts and summaries, with the aim of making preparation and follow-up of client meetings more efficient. No results or move to production have been published since; the only source is a vendor blog. Mobiliar's documented productive generative-AI tool is the separate Mobi-ChatGPT employee assistant (since September 2023).
