by Allianz UK (Allianz Commercial)
Market unit: GB
BRIAN is a generative AI tool of Allianz UK that answers underwriters' questions only from the uploaded underwriting guidance documents and links each answer to the source section. After a pilot with about 3,000 questions from 190 users it was rolled out in January 2025 to all property and liability underwriters in Allianz UK's commercial offices, with extension to all underwriters planned. More than 13,000 questions have been asked, saving an estimated 65,000 minutes (about 135 working days) of information gathering; it is especially useful for junior underwriters.
