alletta (alletta sales platform ag, Rothrist) is a FINMA-registered insurance intermediary that has operated a digital platform since 1 October 2023 for comparing and buying Swiss basic and supplementary health insurance and legal-protection insurance. Customers are guided through a scripted needs assessment by a video avatar modelled on a real insurance advisor and produced with Synthesia, available in ten languages, plus an AI chat; the platform also uses text-to-speech, speech-to-text and document AI. In October 2025 alletta launched SmartReader, which reads uploaded policies to identify products, premiums and coverage levels and generates comparison offers. Customers receive part of the commission as cashback. Candidate for the Swiss Insurance Innovation Award 2024. No usage figures are published.
AXA Switzerland reports being the first insurer in Switzerland to offer its own app inside ChatGPT via OpenAI's app integration. Customers interested in legal protection insurance (AXA-ARAG) can ask about coverage, receive a premium calculation in the conversation and follow links to axa.ch to request a quote or conclude a contract. AXA positions it as an extension of its omnichannel offering, serving as both a sales channel and a lead channel for its tied agencies. The only source is an AXA LinkedIn post; as of October 2026 no AXA press release, trade-press coverage or usage figures were found, so status and scale are unconfirmed.
