French mutual group Covéa uses Tractable's computer-vision AI in motor claims for its MAAF, MMA and GMF brands. The AI analyses photos of vehicle damage in real time so that partner repairers receive instant assessments; Tractable's Auto Reviewer checks repairers' estimates against the photos and flags inconsistencies with Covéa's quality standards, integrated into the DARVA process across Covéa's network of more than 2,000 approved repair shops (2023). Covéa states that more than 160,000 claims have been finalised with the technology since the collaboration began. In April 2026 the partnership was renewed for three years, with continuous optimisation and potential new AI use cases. Figures are from vendor releases and trade press (vendor-reported).

AXA Switzerland uses Shift Technology's Claims Fraud Detection on motor and property claims, flagging suspicious claims at first notice of loss and re-running fraud models in real time as new claim data is recorded. Over 100 fraud scenarios tuned to the Swiss market and AXA's portfolio combine AXA policy and claims data with government records and national association databases. According to Shift's case study (March 2023, vendor-reported), more than 1 million claims had been analysed and over EUR 12 million of fraud stopped. In March 2026 AXA Group renewed its Shift collaboration, running since 2016, for five years across claims, fraud and underwriting in 15 markets; Switzerland is not named individually in the renewal.

NiQA is an AI-driven digital assistant of UNIQA for claims reporting, documented on UNIQA's Hungarian website. It listens to the customer's description, identifies the damage type and fills in the claim form in the background, verifies incoming information in real time, analyses uploaded photos as they arrive and checks submitted documents, alerting users to missing items. It currently covers burst pipes, water damage and broken glass and is being extended to further roles; trade press names Intuitech as technology partner.

Since September 2021 Baloise has used a virtual voice assistant, developed with Spitch and NTT DATA, in its Swiss non-life customer service. Callers state their concern in standard German or Swiss German dialect instead of using the phone menu; the assistant recognises the intent, mainly claims notifications, and transfers the call with an on-screen text summary for the agent. At launch about 40% of German-language non-life enquiries passed through the assistant and 85% of callers reached the right expert at the first attempt; French was planned for a later stage. Spitch's case study (updated April 2025) describes a hybrid on-premise and cloud setup. Status after the December 2025 Helvetia Baloise merger is not documented.
